Dua' of Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه

The story says that Hajaj bin Yusuf has ordered his army to catch Hazrat Anas رضي الله عنه from Madinah. Once they bring him to Hajaj, he walks in his palace with full confidence. Hajaj told him that he will kill him, cut him into pieces, but if he says sorry he can forgive him.

Then Hazrat Anas رضي الله عنه says by swearing of ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى, your sword will become stick for me and my stick will become sword for you. On this saying Hajaj says ok, you may leave and go back.

Once Hazrat Anas رضي الله عنه left, Hajaj's wazir and the attendant says why what happen just now you wanted to kill him into pieces. Hajaj reply, once Anas رضي الله عنه was talking to me, I saw two Lion on his shoulders and about to jump on me. That's why I ask him to go faster so that I am safe.

On arrival to Madinah, people ask Hazrat Anas رضي الله عنه how you was safe from Hajaj, on this Hazrat Anas رضي الله عنه says that Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم has taught me one dua', with the berkat of dua', ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى has saved me. This dua' was given by Hazrat Anas رضي الله عنه at his death time to other sahaba.
